Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) will reveal the new head coach of the Indonesia national football team on 12 January 2024, replacing Shin Tae-yong.

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir said on Monday (6/1/2025)  that the new coach, reportedly from the Netherlands, will arrive in Indonesia on the evening of 11 January 2024 and be formally introduced the next day.

“We’ll hold a press conference on the 12th at around 4 pm, where the media can directly interact with the coach,” Chairman Erick announced,as quoted by antaranews.com.

Following the introduction, the coach will meet domestic-based national team players on the same evening. Additional plans include discussions with the PSSI Executive Committee, a meeting with Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo, and visits to training facilities.

“This coaching team aims to elevate teamwork. The head coach will be supported by highly qualified assistants,” Chairman Erick explained
