Survey Shows Majority of People Satisfied with President Prabowo's Leadership

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The latest survey by Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) recorded that 81 percent of the public is satisfied with the performance of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

As reported by Antaranews on Sunday (6/1/2025), based on the survey, 81 percent of respondents stated that they were satisfied with the President's performance, while 19 percent were dissatisfied.

Of the total 1,200 respondents, 13 percent stated that they were very satisfied, 46 percent were satisfied, 22 percent were quite satisfied, 15 percent were dissatisfied, and 4 percent were very dissatisfied.

"This high satisfaction figure shows that the public still has hope for President Prabowo's leadership, even though major challenges in the economic and employment sectors still have to be faced," said IPO Executive Director Dedi Kurnia Syah.

The survey also identified several reasons behind public satisfaction with President Prabowo's performance.

As many as 19.5 percent considered Prabowo to be firm and authoritative, 16.7 percent appreciated his support for eradicating corruption, and 11.5 percent highlighted his experience in government.

In addition, 9.4 percent considered the President's programs to be pro-people, 6.2 percent praised social assistance, and 5.9 percent acknowledged the benefits of the free nutritious meal program.

The public also conveyed the most important issues that the Government must immediately address.

As many as 31.8 percent demanded more affordable staple food prices, 12.5 percent prioritized employment, and 9.6 percent wanted better security.

Other issues include people's welfare (7.9 percent), eradicating corruption (7.4 percent), and health insurance (7.1 percent), infrastructure development (4.5 percent), and cheap education costs (3.5 percent).

"The government must focus on pro-people policies so that economic and social stability is maintained," he said.

This IPO survey was conducted between May 22 and 28, 2025, involving 1,200 respondents through direct interviews. The margin of error obtained was 2.90 percent, with a data accuracy level of 95 percent.

The sampling technique used was multistage random sampling (MRS) to ensure data representativeness.
