Transportation Ministry Inspected Dozens of Buses During Eid al-Adha Holiday

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation has inspected 34 buses at the rest area of ​​Kilometer 45 of the Jagorawi Toll Road, Bogor Regency, West Java during the 2025 Eid al-Adha holiday.

This inspection is a manifestation of the Indonesian Government's commitment to improving traffic safety and reducing the risk of accidents.

"This safety inspection (Ramp Check) includes checking administrative documents such as vehicle test pass documents, Vehicle Registration Card and Driving License," said the Director of Road Traffic of the Transportation Ministry, Rudi Irawan, as reported by RRI, on Tuesday (6/10/2025).

In his statement, he mentioned that the dozens of vehicles that were inspected consisted of 31 tourist buses, two intercity buses within the province (AKDP), and one private bus. This was carried out for two days from June 7 to June 8, 2025.

Furthermore, he said that the violations committed by the 13 buses were related to the completeness of the administrative documents for safety requirements. Such as vehicle test documents to inspection card (KPS) documents.

"Violations were dominated by vehicles that were not equipped with KPS as many as seven violations or around 44 percent. The number of violations committed included two buses that had KIR but the validity period had expired, one bus did not have KIR, and two vehicles had fake KIR," he explained.
