Two Technicians Electrocuted While Working on Sluice Gate Railway, One Died

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Two workers electrocuted while installing flood sensors on the edge of the Petamburan sluice gate railway tracks, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The victims have the initials ADAP (21) and DF (20).

“It is true. I confirm that the incident is true,” says the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Tuesday (12/10/2024).

Ade conveys that the two victims were working when the rain was pouring down. ADAP and DF were climbing the pole to install the sensors. Unfortunately, one of them was electrocuted.

DF was immediately brought to Pelni hospital while ADAP was thrown to West Flood Canal River.

Police and the rescue team found the body of ADAP on the river at 15.10 pm. ADAP was found dead and the body was moved to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.

As of now, police are still conducting a thorough investigation on the case.
