inp.polri.go.id - Way Kanan. The Traffic Unit of Way Kanan Sub-regional Police intensify their socialization operation to road users during the 2025 Krakatau Safety Operation at Trans-Sumatra Highway, Bumi Ratu Village, Umpu Semenguk District, Way Kanan Regency on Saturday (22/2/2025).

Head of Traffic Unit of Way Kanan Sub-regional Police, Police Senior Inspector Asep Suhendi said that this activity was carried out to provide an appeal for orderly traffic to drivers and other road users to obey traffic regulations.

Asep himself says that this operation is part of the 2025 Krakatau Safety Operation with the goal of improving public awareness on traffic order.

“We hope that this operation can provide a security situation and reduce traffic accidents, also traffic violations in Way Kanan,” says Asep.

Not only providing socialization to the public on the road, the patrol unit also reprimanded the four-wheeled vehicles for not using the safety belt or not complying with the road signs.
