Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Yogyakarta Immigration officials questioned a 27-year-old Nigerian citizen, identified as OCV, on Tuesday (9/12/2025) after he posted viral misinformation falsely labeling the Prambanan Temple Complex as the “Temple of Kakukakrash.”

The inquiry followed a cyber-patrol finding by the intelligence and enforcement division.

“We will not tolerate misleading content from foreign nationals, especially when it harms Indonesia’s cultural heritage,” said Yogyakarta Immigration Chief Tedy Riyandi, as cited by antaranews.com

Officials confirmed that suspect OCV recorded and uploaded the content while inside the Prambanan Temple tourism area. He reportedly encouraged followers to join an unrecognized belief system he created. Immigration authorities said OCV holds a limited stay permit for family reunification and works as a digital content creator.

Investigators revealed he manages several social media accounts, including one TikTok account that has been suspended, and continues to post misleading videos to a Facebook page with more than 161,000 followers. The case remains under examination as immigration coordinates with the regional tourism office and Prambanan management.
