Indonesian National Police (INP) prepares 103 electric vehicles for VVIP guest delegates escort for Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum Summit that will be held in Nusa Dua, Bali. “The electric vehicles that we prepare are 45 cars and 58 motorbikes that will be deployed for VVIP. The vehicles, which using batteries, will be assigned to Presidential Security Guard. For the others, we are still using a mix of electric and non-electric vehicles,” says the INP Traffic Corps, Inspector General Firman Santyabudi on Sunday (8/10/2023). He says the 11 other non-electric vehicles will support the escort of AIS Forum Summit, both from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the meeting location. “To ensure smooth traffic for delegates, INP Traffic Corps have formed several task forces such as escort task force, routes security task force, and parking task force,” says Firman. He asked for Bali’s community and tourists understanding and cooperation for the traffic operations and engineering.
