inp.polri.go.id - East Kutai. The East Kutai Sub-regional Police distributed SPHP rice today through the Rantau Pulung Sector Police Station. This distribution is part of the Affordable Food Movement (GPM) program.

East Kutai Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Fauzan Arianto, stated that the 125 sacks of 5 kg SPHP rice were distributed as a form of support for government programs as directed by the Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"Today, we distributed SPHP rice at a price of IDR 55,000 for a 5-kg rice. Public enthusiasm was high, and all the rice has been sold," said Fauzan on Monday (8/18/2025).

Fauzan explained that this activity is being carried out in collaboration with the East Kutai Regional Logistics Agency , the Department of Industry, Trade, and Cooperatives, and the Ketapang Office of East Kutai Regency.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the police, along with relevant stakeholders, will continue to collaborate to ensure the distribution of basic food supplies to the community is on target. 

"With this GPM program, it is hoped that we can reduce the risk of staple food shortages in the community," said the East Kutai Sub-regional Police Chief.
