Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Central Jakarta Metro Police deployed 1,400 joint officers to secure the FIFA Matchday football match between Indonesia and Oman at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) on Friday (5/6/2026) evening.
“1,400 joint officers are securing the Indonesia vs Oman match at GBK Stadium,” said Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent. Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.
Officers were stationed at entrances, inside the stadium, and around Senayan.
Chief Reynold urged supporters not to bring prohibited items such as fireworks, flares, sharp weapons, or alcohol. Traffic around Senayan was managed situationally to prevent congestion, with drivers advised to use alternative routes.
He said that officers would act firmly against violations while maintaining a humanist approach, ensuring a safe and orderly atmosphere for all spectators.
