Human Resources Staff (HRS) of Indonesian National Police (INP) responds to public attention on police recruitment with Head Bureau of Personnel Handling of INP Human Resource, Brigadier General Nurworo Danang ensures that his party continuously improve by providing transparency. “This year, around 145,000 people registered to become INP member. This shows public interest in INP is high, either for fresh graduate, or even those who have tried six times,” says Danang quoted from detikPagi, Friday (10/20/2023). He says his party have always open for criticism, suggestion, and recommendation for recruitment of new INP member. Even, the applicants could complaint and correct the judges if there is an error. “Applicants could also ask for score confirmation. If the score is missed, they could report and correct the score. This is part of our transparency during this recruitment process,” adds Danang. He stressed that the determining factors of whether the new INP member are passed or not would be on their own hands. “There are some who only applied once and prepared themselves so well, they might be accepted to be the new INP member. However, if they only do it half-heartedly, even if they tried six times, they won’t be accepted. Our selection process is already transparent, score could be immediately seen after the test. Our test use Computer Assisted Test.
