Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have arrested 15 people in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a bank branch manager, whose body was found in Bekasi, West Java, on 21 August 2025.

“There are 15 people already in custody. Six were arrested by the Mobile Investigation Unit, while the rest were captured by the Violent Crimes Unit,” Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Superintendent Ade Ary told reporters on Tuesday (26/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

He explained that earlier police had arrested only eight suspects, including four kidnappers and four intellectual actors behind the crime. The roles of the seven additional suspects are still under investigation.

Police have so far identified four alleged masterminds, identified as C, DH, YJ, and AA. Three were arrested in Surakarta, Central Java, on 23 August 2025, while another was caught in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, on 24  August 2025.

Investigators continue to cross-check testimonies and evidence to establish each suspect’s involvement in the high-profile case.
