Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned toll road operator PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 157,909 cars and buses departing from Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi on Friday, or H-10 before Eid al-Fitr.
"This figure is the cumulative traffic volume from four main toll gates: Cikampek Utama (Trans Java), Kalihurip Utama (Bandung), Cikupa (Merak), and Ciawi (Puncak),” said Jasa Marga’s Corporate Communication Head Lisye Octaviana, Saturday (22/3/2025).
The figure represents a 37.1 percent increase from the same period last year but remains 0.3 percent below normal traffic levels. The exodus was recorded at four main toll gates: Cikampek Utama, Kalihurip Utama, Cikupa, and Ciawi.
Traffic was heaviest on the eastern routes toward Trans Java and Bandung, accounting for nearly 45 percent of total departures. The western route to Merak saw 32.6 percent of the traffic, while the remaining 22.5 percent headed south toward Puncak. The number of vehicles passing through Cikampek Utama rose by 10.6 percent compared to normal conditions, while traffic through Kalihurip Utama declined by 4.8 percent.
Jasa Marga urged travelers to avoid peak congestion, expected on 28 March 2025 for outbound traffic and 6 April 2025 for return journeys.
