Operating under Law Number 12 of 2006 on Citizenship, the Ministry facilitated their return due to one parent's Indonesian citizenship, he said. Efforts, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs, focused on locating and reuniting the children with maternal families, prioritizing cases with clear family connections, Judha said. He urged migrant workers to carefully consider legal and social implications before starting families abroad. Compliance with host country regulations is crucial to prevent hardships for undocumented children left abroad.
