Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The government will launch the "Indonesia AI Nation" Center with a $200 million investment, spearheaded by US-based tech giant NVIDIA and telecom firm Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. Situated in Surakarta, Central Java, within the Solo Techno Park, the center aims to bolster the country's Artificial Intelligence development. Minister of Communication and Information Technology Budi Arie Setiadi unveiled the plan on Wednesday (3/4/2024), underscoring the substantial investment in AI technology. Solo Techno Park, renowned for its infrastructure and talent pool, was selected as the center's location. Launched by the Government in February 2023, it serves as a nucleus for technology advancement. Deputy Minister Nezar Patria emphasized the center's mission to enhance Indonesia's digital talent, particularly in AI. He noted NVIDIA's global influence and cutting-edge AI technology, positioning it as a crucial partner.
