inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Several world leaders from various fields will attend the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) on Thursday (9/5/2024) at Jakarta Convention Center. The 2024 ISF event, which was opened directly by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, raised the theme of Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Growth.
The forum that is attended by 8,000 participants will highlight five pillars of discussion, which are green economy, energy transition, biodiversity and nature conservation, sustainable living, and blue economy.
The world leaders that will attend the event as the core speaker of this forum are the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Singapore's Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof, China's Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zuanglong, and the Minister of Environment of the Democratic Republic of Congo Eve Bazaiba. Also attending ISF 2024 are the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Oceans Peter Thomson, and the French Foreign Ministry's Special Advisor on Climate Action Kevin Magron. Also attending will be the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Arsjad Rasjid, CEO of the Bezos Earth Fund Andrew Steers, and Vice President of The Rockefeller Foundation Deepali Khanna.
The 2024 ISF is an official Indonesian Government forum for world leaders from various fields to exchange ideas and knowledge, providing solutions, and best practice in facing the climate exchange. ISF will be going for two days and will present several agendas from its Main Sessions featuring key speakers, Plenary Meeting, Thematic Meeting, High Level Dialogue, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing, Exhibition, and Gala Dinner.
One that is worth mentioning is its Gala Dinner in the area of the National Monument. Gala Dinner will present attractive and spectacular shows for the guests to enjoy. The Gala Dinner, which will be attended by 500 VIP guests, will present video mapping with lighting attractions featuring animated images or videos highlighting the walls. The Dinner led by Vice President KH Maruf Amin will also serve traditional and famous Indonesian food.
