Inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Mandalika World Superbike (WSBK) scheduled on March 3-5, 2023 is set to be secured by thousands of personnel of the joint forces of the Indonesian Military, Indonesian National Police (INP), and local administration.

Deputy Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Brigadier General Ruslan Aspan said that as many as 2367 personnel of the primary forces is to be deployed to support the 167 police personnel from Bali Regional Police, East Java Regional Police and the INP Headquarters.

"We are ready to manage the security. The personnel have been well-prepared," he said during the deployment ceremony at the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Headquarters on Tuesday (28/2/23).

The general explained that the security measures is to be implemented from the entry points of Lombok Island to the Mandalika Circuit area to ensure public safety during the event. 

"We must maintain the good reputation to follow up the previous successful WSBK and MotoGP events," he concluded.
