Inp.polri.go.id - Malang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) announced on Wednesday (6/8/2025) that 34 Nutrition Service kitchens (SPPG) are in the operational preparation stage to support the government’s Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.
“Of the 34 SPPG in preparation, eight have been launched today,” said the INP Inspector General for Supervision, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, during a groundbreaking ceremony.
The new units are located in Tulungagung, Payakumbuh, Lima Puluh Kota, Bangka Belitung, Bandung, and three in Bantul, Sleman, and Gunung Kidul.
In addition, groundbreaking was held for 205 new SPPG, while 155 units remain under construction. Currently, 27 SPPG are operational.
Chief Dedi said each food package will undergo security checks, following technical guidelines from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) to ensure all distributed MBG meals are safe and meet nutritional standards.
