Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s elite counterterrorism unit, Densus 88, has arrested six terror suspects between 17 July and 5 August 2025 in operations spanning Aceh, Jakarta, West Java, and Central Sulawesi.

“Law enforcement actions were carried out against six suspects in multiple regions,” said INP Public Relations Head of Public Information Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Wednesday (6/8/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

On 17 July 2025, three suspects, identified as UB from Berau, East Kalimantan, LA from Toli-Toli, Central Sulawesi, and MI  from Depok, West Java, were detained for their roles in terror networks, including leadership positions and attending group training sessions. 

On 18 July 2025, suspect YK was arrested in Bogor, West Java, as a division head in a terror cell.

On 5 August 2025, suspects ZA and M were arrested in Banda Aceh; suspect ZA allegedly handled the group’s finances, while suspect M served as chief of staff and archivist.
