Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Antiterror Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) of the Indonesian National Police (INP) arrested a total of six terrorist suspects in the regions of South Sumatra and West Kalimantan.
"Densus 88 Antiterror Police have arrested one terrorist suspect associated with Jemaah Anshor Daulah in West Kalimantan and five terrorist suspects linked to Jemaah Islamiyah in South Sumatra," said Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of the Public Information Bureau of the INP Public Relations Division,
However, the spokesperson did not provided further detailed information regarding the initials and roles of each of the captured terrorist suspects.
As of now, Densus 88 Antiterror Police are continuing their in-depth investigations into the alleged terrorism-related activities
"The Densus 88 investigators are still gathering information and evidence in the field," he said.
