EMT Provides Medical Treatment to 624 Earthquake Victims in Turkey

Inp.polri.go.id -Hatay. A medical team of the Indonesian National Police (INP), which is a part the  Emergency Medical Team (EMT) of Indonesian Health Ministry Crisis Center, continued to provide medical services in an Indonesian field hospital in Hatay, Turkey. 

“As of yesterday, our team has provided medical treatment to 624 earthquake victims,” said Head of Public Information Bureau of the Public Relation Division of the INP Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan on Tuesday (2/21/23).

He explained that the majority of the patients at the field hospital suffered from acute respiratory infections, muscle pain, and skin diseases.

“The team will continue to provide medical services for the earthquake victims,” he said, adding that the services included general polyclinic, orthopedic, anesthesia, and dental services.

In addition to the medical services in the field hospital, the team also arranged home visits to reach more victims.
