Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The investigators of Central Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police have arrested LD for his abuse on his girlfriend, RAS (19). The abuse has gone viral in social media, showing the injuries suffered by RAS after being beaten up by LD. Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro explains that the case has initially been reported by RAS on November 8th, 2023. After further examination on the case, LD was then arrested on Thursday (11/16/2023) at 22:00 at his house in Cirende, South Jakarta. RAS reportedly has been abused two times in two different locations. The first abuse happened on September 30th, 2023 at Cinere Mall. “The second time happened on November 7th, 2023 at RAS house in Gambir,” says Susatyo on Friday (11/17/2023). Moreover, the police chief explains that the victim has also given the results of her medical check-up when reporting the case. The victim suffered injuries in her hands, neck, and thighs. “LD and RAS have been in relationship for a year since October 2022. LD reportedly was jealous which led to abuse on the victim,” explains Asep. LD has been determined as suspect and has been arrested by the police for the abuse and also his insult on police institution. He had initially challenged his girlfriend that he is not afraid with the police. LD will be charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution with 5 years imprisonment.
