Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) clarified on Saturday (8/8)/2026 that national and international achievement certificates, including the Eagle Scout (Pramuka Garuda) certificate, do not automatically grant admission without passing official selection procedures.
"Whoever the applicant is, they must follow established selection regulations and stages," said INP Head of the Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir. "Achievement certificates serve as supporting documents and do not replace the selection process."
He explained that recruitment strictly adheres to INP Chief Regulation (Perkap) No. 2 of 2026. Applicants holding certificates must meet all physical, psychological, and administrative requirements.
Chief Johny reaffirmed the INP’s commitment to maintaining the "BETAH" recruitment principles referring to Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humane. To ensure objectivity, the recruitment process includes external monitoring.
