Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, the Jakarta Military Command, and the Jakarta administration convened the "Jaga Jakarta" National Rally at the National Monument (Monas) ground, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (8/8/2026).

"This event is not merely ceremonial; it includes a declaration supporting Jaga Jakarta as a commitment to maintain unity, order, and conduciveness," said Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto.

The joint initiative brought together students, labor unions, and online motorcycle taxi drivers to foster unity and capital security. 

Metro Jaya Police Chief Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri and Jakarta Military Commander Lieutenant General Dedy Suryadi engaged directly with participants to gather feedback and strengthen military-police synergy. 

The event also provided free community services, including general medical examinations, eye and dental care, laboratory checkups, and social aid distribution to support public welfare while keeping daily economic and social activities running smoothly.
