After burned down by the Armed Criminal Group back in September 2023, Oksibil State Vocational School 1 finally returned to normal, although teachers and students still felt the trauma from the incident. The Principal of Oksibil State Vocational School 1, Dominikus Tarong says that the school was once forced to be closed due to the incident, however now teachers and student are finally returned enthusiastically. “Until now, school have returned to normal, and their trauma are gradually healed,” said Dominikus Tarong. Dominikus also appreciated Damai Cartenz Ops presence in Oksibil District to provide the local community comfort and peace. “Thank you Indonesian Military Force (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (INP), for your hard work in maintaining security in Oksibil District so that people could return to their daily activity and we can finally return to school safely,” said Dominikus Tarong. The principal also hoped that joint security force would establish their post in Esipding Village so that people, teachers, and students of Oksibil State Vocational School 1 are free from KKB threats.
