Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force successfully arrested another member of Armed Criminal Group named Epson Nirigi who acts as guns and ammunitions supplier to Kodap III Ndugama KKB of Egianus Kogoya in Mimika Regency on February 20th, at Hotel Lavela in. The Head of Damai Cartenz Ops PR Chief, Superintendent Bayu Suseno explains that Epson Nirigi was once involved in several criminal actions and listed in Nduga Sub-regional Police Wanted List. “We have to understand that Epson Nirigi has criminal records for his past criminal actions such as supplying guns and ammunitions to Egianus Kogoya KKB,” explained Bayu Suseno. Furthermore, Bayu explains that Epson Nirigi involvement in past criminal actions was gained from Musianus Mijile who is Kenyam District Head and Yomse Lokbere who was KKB Commander Matoa Post. Both of them states that Epson Nirigi was paid for IDR 30 million to search guns and ammunitions for KKB. Musianus Mijile continued that they met in 2021 and from that meeting he gave Epson Nirigi the money in exchange for guns and ammunitions. “Musianus Mijile, who was the Head of Kenyam District, was arrested on April 30th, 2023 and Yomse Lokbere was arrested on April 6th, 2023,” conclude Bayu Suseno. Musianus Mijile was sentenced with 2 years in prison on January 23rd, 2023, and Yomse Lokbere is serving his sentence with a prison sentence of 3 years and 8 months since October 31st, 2023.
