Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) are intensifying efforts to pursue fugitives linked to financial crimes after extraditing former Investree CEO Adrian Asharyanto Gunadi from Qatar.

“Michael Steven’s whereabouts have been mapped, and his red notice was issued on 19 September 2025,” said Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, the Secretary of Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Indonesia, during a briefing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Friday (26/9/2025).

The fugitives include Michael Steven, owner of Kresna Life, and Wanaartha Life’s owners Manfred Armin Pietruschka and Evelina Fadil Pietruschka. Authorities also arrested their son, Rezanantha Pietruschka, in California, though he was later released on bail.

Chief Untung noted wealthy economic crime suspects often hire lawyers to challenge red notices, claiming their cases are civil rather than criminal.

Police are working with U.S. Homeland Security, ICE, and the FBI. Regulators accuse the suspects of illegally raising Rp 2.7 trillion ($165 million) between 2022 and 2024, facing up to 10 years in prison under Indonesia’s banking and financial laws.
