Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. President Joko Widodo officially appointed Amran Sulaiman as the Minister of Agriculture. The appointment was to replace Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) following the corruption case during his reign as the minister of agriculture. The appointment was held in Indonesian Istana Negara on Wednesday (10/25/2023) morning. “I vow that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all statutory regulations for the sake of my service to the nation and state. In carrying out my duty, I will uphold the office ethics, work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,” vows Amran during his oath of office. Amran was the Minister of Agriculture from 2014-2019 before he was replaced by Syahrul Yasin Limpo. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
