Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Jokowi officially General Agus Subiyanto as the Indonesian Military Force (TNI) Chief of Army Staff. Agus will replace General Dudung Abdurachman who will retire on November 2023. The appointment was held in Indonesian Istana Negara on Wednesday (10/25/2023) morning. “I vow that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all statutory regulations for the sake of my service to the nation and state. In carrying out my duty, I will uphold the office ethics, work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,” vows Amran during his oath of office. Before being appointed as the new Chief of Army Staff, Agus was the Commander of Suryakencana Military Resort Command in 2020, Commander of President Security Guard on 2020-2021, and also the Commander of Siliwangi Regional Military Command on 2021.
