inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Trains Directorate General of Transportation Ministry says the short-route trial of Autonomous Rail Transit (ART) in Nusantara Capital City (IKN) will be held on August 10th, 2024.

“If everything goes smoothly, we want to be able to test the ART dynamically on a small route on August 10th, 2024,” says the Train Director General, Risal Wasal on Tuesday (8/6/2024).

To support this trial, Risal says that his party is testing the facilities, infrastructure, and the human resource for ART in IKN.

“The internal testing hopefully can be completed on August 9th, 2024,” said Risal.

He explains that the short route or small loop trial is a trial for ART to operate from Coordinating Ministry Building 3 to Coordinating Ministry 2 in the Central Government Corea Area (KIPP).

Moreover, Risal explains that this trial was to ensure smooth ART operation ahead the independence day on August 17th, 2024.

The next step after the trial would be an evaluation from his party and Nusantara Capital City Authority before it is officially showcased to the public on October 10th, to December 31st.
