inp.polri.go.id - South Kalimantan. To ensure price stability and the availability of staple foods after Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, the South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force conducted a surprise inspection and monitoring at Kuripan Market, Banjarmasin.
The activity was led by the Food Task Force. Based on inspections at several vendor stalls, the team found price variations for Essential Staple Foods.
Despite price fluctuations, particularly for chilies and beef, which experienced significant increases, the Food Task Force emphasized that stocks of all staple foods at Kuripan Market are safe and sufficient to meet the community's needs after Eid.
"We continue to conduct routine monitoring to ensure there is no hoarding and to maintain a smooth distribution chain, so that prices can stabilize according to government guidelines," said Police Senior Inspector Krismandra during the activity.
This preventative measure is expected to provide peace of mind to the people of South Kalimantan, particularly in Banjarmasin, regarding the affordability of food prices in traditional markets.
