Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta.  Digital startup business potential in ASEAN projected able to surpass 1 trillion USD in 2030. The goals said able to be achieved through innovation and collaboration in ASEAN and Indo-Pacific. The 52 startups in financial, MSMEs, supply chain, and creative economy sector from the seven states of ASEAN and 21 corporate partners from Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore attend the AIPF Startup Connect. “The startups and corporate partners will attend the business matching event until tomorrow,” said Information Director General and Public Diplomat of Foreign Ministry Teuku Faizasyah. Through this event, it is hoped that ASEAN able to produce many successful startup. Moreover, Vice President for Asia Pacific Google, Michaela Browning, states that she believe through startup development in ASEAN, it could grow even faster due to strong technology adaption by ASEAN community and young talents that scattered across the region. During panel discussion, they talked about challenges and opportunities in enhancing the capabilities of startup in ASEAN in facing digital development and other on-going issues. AIPF Startup Connect is the result of collaboration between Indonesian Foreign Ministry, Google, and Impactto.
