PT Lintas Marga Sedaya, or Astra Tol Cipali, the operator of Cikopo Palimanan toll road, in West Java has announced on Sunday (27/10/2024) an increase in toll rates, effective at midnight on Wednesday. 

Astra Tol Cipali Director Rinaldi explained that this increase adheres to Law No. 2 of 2022, which mandates toll evaluations every two years, taking into account inflation and minimum service standards (SPM) for toll roads. It follows the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing's decision issued on 15 October  2024 on toll adjustments and vehicle classification.

The new rates will rise by approximately 10.69% to 10.98% based on vehicle classification. The maximum toll for Class I vehicles will be Rp 132,000, Class II and III will be Rp 217,500, while Class IV and V will be Rp 273,000.

Rinaldi emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance service quality, including the addition of a third lane spanning 18.2 km, completed in 2023, and a further 23 km in 2024. The company has also upgraded facilities and safety measures, ensuring a better experience for users.

Sustainability initiatives include solar panel usage, waste processing, and support for local businesses.
