Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Attorney eneral’s Office (AGO) has imposed a travel ban on two senior executives of PT Sugar Group Companies, identified as Purwanti Lee Cauhoul and Gunawan Yusuf, amid a money laundering investigation linked to former Supreme Court official Zarof Ricar.
“They have been barred from leaving the country and questioned as witnesses in the money laundering case involving Zarof Ricar,” said AGO spokesperson Anang Supriatna on Saturday (26/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman confirmed the travel ban, effective from 23 April to 23 October 2025, at the AGO’s request.
Zarof previously admitted in court to receiving Rp 50 billion to influence a civil case involving Sugar Group and Marubeni. The case allegedly occurred between 2016 and 2018.
Zarof is serving an 18-year sentence for bribery and gratification. Authorities have also confiscated Rp 915 billion and 51 kilograms of gold.
