Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) confirmed on Friday (30/1/2026) that investigators raided the private residence of former Environment and Forestry Minister Siti Nurbaya Bakar in a part of an investigation into corruption surrounding palm oil plantation management and industrial governance during her ministerial tenure.

"I confirm that a search took place recently to secure evidence regarding the management of palm oil industries," Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General Office  for Special Crimes, as cited by antaranews.com.

During the raid, authorities seized various documents and electronic evidence. While Siti Nurbaya has not yet been formally summoned for questioning, investigators are currently analyzing the confiscated materials to build their case.

This raid was part of a wider sweep conducted across five different locations on Wednesday and Thursday. Prosecutors said that these steps are vital to uncovering administrative irregularities that have caused significant state losses within the forestry sector.
