Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Premier of Australia and Japan stressed that ASEAN is an integral partner for the both of them. The two stated their commitment in deepening their collaboration with the region during the second day of ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) in Mulia Hotel, Jakarta (9/6/2023). “The centrality of ASEAN is crucial for Australia. We place our trust to the region. ASEAN is the place we place our economic fate. We have built strong foundation and there are still more potential that had yet to be found,” says the Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese. Moreover, he suggests a cooperation on farm, energy security, infrastructure, and educational issues. He also reaffirmed that Japan support ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific. ASEAN and Japan scheduled to have another meeting on December where they planned to build new vision. The second day of AIPF also presented panel discussion, briefer, and CEO fireside chat with the sub-theme of “Green Infrastructure and Resilient Supply Chain”. On the panel discussion there are CEO Loca Laos, Executive Chair and Founder Aspen Medical, Special Advisor President Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Pertamina Finance Director, MIND ID Finance Director, Chief Commercial Officer, DP World Asia Pasifik Logistic, and the Vice President and Head of Future Business Group Hyundai Motor ASEAN Headquarter.
