inp.polri.go.di - Papua. The Papua Regional Police Food Task Force has urged merchants not to hoard or raise the price of cooking oil, especially subsidized cooking oil, which could lead to shortages.

The Papua Regional Police Food Task Force is monitoring the availability of cooking oil, particularly subsidized cooking oil, the MinyaKita brand.

"Monitoring is being conducted to ensure the availability of this commodity and to monitor its price," said the Head of the Papua Regional Police Food Task Force, Senior Superintendent Rama Samtama Putra, in Jayapura.

The monitoring revealed that the supply of cooking oil, especially subsidized cooking oil, is secure, with varying selling prices.

The selling price is based on the highest retail price (HET) of IDR 15,700 per liter, but for those outside of that, the price varies up to IDR 20,000 per liter.

Meanwhile, the supply of MinyaKita cooking oil, especially in Jayapura, is secure, as Bulog has supplied 90,000 liters. 

"Five containers of MinyaKita have arrived in Jayapura, so supplies are secure," he said.
