Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The dispute between the parents involved in the baby mix-up case and Sentosa Hospital in Kemang, Bogor Regency, West Java, has finally reached an amicable resolution through restorative justice mechanism. An agreement was reached between the parents, Siti Mauliah and Dian Prihatini, and the management of Sentosa Hospital, as confirmed by the hospital's Director, Margareta, accompanied by the parents at the Cibinong Sub-regional Police office on Wednesday (7/2/2024), antaranews.com reported. "RS Sentosa provided a sum of money as a gesture of goodwill to both parties," Director Margaret said, without disclosing the exact amount. She hoped that the Sentosa Hospital learnt a lesson from the baby mix-up case to improve its childbirth handling procedures. The baby mix-up case came to light when Mauliah and her husband Tabrani filed a complaint with the Women and Child Protection Unit of the Bogor Police on 10 August 2023, alleging that their son was swapped after she underwent a caesarean section at RS Sentosa on 18 July 18 2022.
