Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Badung Regency, Bali, deported two South Korean producers for violating immigration regulations and failing to secure a film production permit in Indonesia.

Identified as YJC and NJ, they were behind the reality show "Pick Me Trip in Bali," according to antaranews.com

Ngurah Rai Immigration Head Suhendra said on Sunday (28/4/2024) that they were deported via Kuala Lumpur to Seoul, charged under Article 75 of Indonesia's Immigration Law, and added to the entry ban list.

They had applied for a production permit through the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul but did not address required improvements. Despite this, the crew and 32 artists arrived in Bali on 21 April 2024. A

Among the artists involved were Hyoyeon from SNSD, Bomi from Apink, and Dita Karang from Secret Number, alongside others.

While some returned to South Korea on Friday, the remaining 14 South Korean nationals were deported on Saturday, including the two producers.

The Immigration Directorate General introduced online visa applications to ease procedures for foreign nationals involved in film production.
