Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Bali Regional Police sends message to people who celebrate the 2024 New Year Eve not to hid the fireworks that could potentially disrupt public safety.
“So far, we are still continueing our plead against the fireworks in accordance to the applicable law,” says Bali Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan on Tuesday (12/19/2023).
Jansen says that there are many victims of the dangerous fireworks, and also has caused fires and incidents due to its huge explosion.
However, the Public Relations Chief allows the public to celebrate the new year eve with small scale fireworks under the watch of adults to prevent unwanted scenarios.
In addition, the intelligent team of Bali Regional Police have monitored several crowded places and implores public not to violate the law, including the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 and 187 of the Criminal Code concerning the Use of Explosives.
“And this is what we have to paid attention in not using the fireworks to avoid unwanted scenarios while also maintaining security situation in Bali,” conclude Jansen.
