The Bangka Belitung Island Regional Police Traffic Directorate will present a free homecoming program for the people of Bangka Belitung Province in the 2024 Eid Al-Fitr homecoming season. The committee of the program, Police Senior Inspector Ellen says that his party provides the free homecoming travel of Pangkalpinang route to South Toboali Bangka and West Mentok Bangka, and will depart on April 7th to April 10th. “People can register for this free homecoming program by coming to the Road Patrol Unit Building of Bangka Belitung Island Regional Police Traffic Directorate and bringing their ID Card,” said Ellen on Thursday (3/28/2024). Ellen then further explains that his party will only depart 60 persons a day from the pick up point at Bangka Belitung Regional Police Traffic Directorate Field. Through this program, Bangka Belitung Regional Police hopes that the traffic for the Eid Homecoming seasons would be much smoother and able to suppress traffic accidents. “We can see that people are enthusiastic with this program as many of them came to register, so we hope that this free homecoming program could help them to travel safely,” said Ellen in conclusion.
