Inp.polri.go.id – Banjar. Ranks of Banjar Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit successfully confiscated dozens of cartons of alcoholic beverages. Dozens of the confiscated items were secured during the unit's raid operation on Sunday (3/24/2024). Head of Operational Subsection Affairs, Second Police Inspector Aef Kusyanto said that the operation aims to maintain regional security and conduciveness. “This activity has been instructed from our leaders to maintain security and conduciveness during the holy month of Ramadan,” said Kusyanto on Sunday (3/24/2024). Furthermore, Kusyanto reveals the target of the operation includes alcoholic beverages, prostitution, and street crimes. The operation was first initiated after the public reported there were alcoholic beverages sold in the area. “After acquiring the information, we immediately went to the places,” Kusyanto said. From the various places visited by the unit, security officials have confiscated 31 bottles of alcoholic beverages from various brands. During the confiscation, police also listed the seller and moved the items to the HQ. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
