Inp.polri.go.id - Serang.  Inspector General Abdul Karim, the Chief of Banten Regional Police, oversaw the commencement of the Initial Briefing for the Performance Audit by the Internal Affairs Division (Itwasda), focusing on the planning and organization aspects for Phase I of 2024 on Thursday (7/3/2024). Banten Police key officials Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General H. M. Sabilul Alif and Internal Affairs Director Senior Superintendnet Hendra Kurniawan attended the meeting. "The internal performance audit conducted by Itwasda serves as a key component in management, which plays a crucial role in controlling and assessing performance as well as efficiency in carrying out duties," Chief Karim said. He emphasized their role in ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing operational efficiency.  The audit will supervise various areas including operational procedures, human resource management, logistics, and finance, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations. Chief Karim hoped that the audit would serve as a valuable tool for identifying and addressing emerging issues promptly. He urged department heads to coordinate and seek solutions for any non-compliance or obstacles encountered during the audit process. (mg/mz/pr/nm)
