Inspector General Abdul Karim, Chief of Banten Regional Police, visited Tangerang Sub-Regional City Police to enhance security and public services, including dedicated  security and public order trustees or Bhabinkamtibmas officers serving remote villages in the Tangerang region, on Tuesday (16/1/2024). "I express my gratitude to all personnel of Tangerang Sub-Regional City Police for the successful implementation of Ops Mantap Brata and Ops Lilin 2023. This has ensured the security of all activities and operations, maintaining controlled safety throughout the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police," he said. He emphasized the resolve to take decisive action against those causing public disorder and stressed the importance of providing humane services to the community for all personnel. He also encouraged personnel to be approachable in their field duties, highlighting the significance of proximity to the community for better issue understanding and resolution, stating, "Direct field engagement allows us to understand problems, find solutions, and mitigate disruptions to public order."
