Banten Regional Police Distributes Basic Foodstuffs to the Nurul Islam Orphanage

On that occasion Banten Regional Police's Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner, Edy Sumardi, said that distributing dozens of food packages during the Barokah Friday activity was a form of social activity for Banten Regional Police Chief program which was routinely carried out every Friday.

"Today we, from Banten Regional Police's Public Relations, distributed dozens of basic food packages from Regional Police Chief to the Nurul Islam Orphanage in Serang City and at same time keep in touch with vhildren of the orphanage because childrens of the orphanage are also the nation's successors." said Head of PR.

"They are all candidates for the nation's successor and now they are entrusted to an orphanage, and this is our collective responsibility, we have to share with them," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Nurul Islam Orphanage Foundation, Hj. Nuris expressed his gratitude to Banten Regional Police's Barokah Friday Team.

"I would like to say a lot of thanks to the gentlemen from Banten Regional Police and Ladies and Gentlemen of Banten Regional Police's PR for the assistance given to us, this really helps us. Hopefully all of your kindness will be rewarded by The Lord God of Almighty," said Nuris.

"And at Nurul Islam Orphanage there are 51 childrens, of which 25 are orphans and as many as 26 childrens are poor," Nuris explained.

Still said Nuris, "during Covid-19 pandemic, we also felt the economic impact that was provided, where usually there was no delay, but now it has decreased due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic," he added.

"I really hope that Friday Barokah activities like this will continue to be carried out, because this is a really positive activity and this activity could ease the burden on the community," hoped Nuris.
