Deputy of Human, Community and Culture Development, Amich Alhumami says the compilation of Reksosek data by the Statistic Center Agency (BPS) has become the social policy for the distribution of social assistance
“Reksosek works with BPS. They gather the data of families by name, by address, resulting in rich and powerful data identification,” explains Amich on Friday (9/13/2024).
In his statement, he underlines that the government has the goal to create one national data. These data, later on, can be used for development, including social assistance However, this process is not easy as there are many data sources and institutions who process data.
"This is indeed not an easy job because the data is very complex to consolidate it into a single system," he said.
He further stated that the government continues to strive to improve the quality of community data collection to ensure that social assistance distribution is more accurate.
"If the data is synchronized and valid, it will minimize the distribution inaccuracy," he said.
At the end of the opportunity, he also encouraged the updating of integrated social welfare data (DTKS). Data updates must be carried out from the lowest level of the Ministry of Social Affairs officers.
