inp.polri.go.id – Bengkulu. The Investigation Sub-Directorate of the Bengkulu Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate arrested a decree from Pagar Din Village, Ketahun District, North Bengkulu Regency for buying and selling fake Plantation Research Center type palm oil seeds.

SK was arrested at Raya Ketahun Batik Nau, Bukit Makmur Village, Pinang Raya District, North Bengkulu, with evidence of 5,000 fake Plantation Research Center oil palm seeds.

The Head of Sub-Directorate for Investigation and Crime Investigation of the Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Commissioner Novi Ari A, said that the evidence of fake Plantation Research Center oil palm seeds that had been secured amounted to 5,000 items wrapped in 20 plastic bags.

From his confession, SK buys oil palm seeds online and then sells them to the people in North Bengkulu for Rp. 750 thousand per bag.

Currently, the investigation team of the Indagsi Sub-Directorate is still developing. However, after a lab test, the oil palm seeds were fake and did not match the quality of the oil palm research centre or Plantation Research Center Medan.

SK was charged with Indonesian Law No. 22 of 2019 concerning the sustainable agricultural cultivation system for his actions.
