inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, Vice Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for Public Communication and Investigation, urged Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) partners to ensure they are not shirking their responsibilities for the operation of the Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) kitchen.

"You (SPPG partners) are at home, just ordering a maid or someone to look after the kitchen, and then you hang out and earn Rp 6 million a day. That's outrageous," said the Vice Head of BGN on Monday (2/9/2026).

She emphasized that partners must monitor the daily operation of the MBG kitchen, even digging into their pockets to hire a backup chef to oversee the entire cooking process.

"The IDR 6 million per day incentive includes kitchen equipment rental, so SPPG partners must prepare everything properly and with quality. All equipment used in the MBG kitchen must be new," she explained.

Nanik added that partners must also build kitchens in accordance with the BGN's technical guidelines, as the health office's Hygiene Sanitation Certificate (SLHS) assessment must be based on this.

Furthermore, partners are required to recruit volunteers who must first undergo a health test, followed by repeated tests every four months. Partners must also register employees for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Nanik also emphasized that partners are not permitted to intervene, dominate, or direct the SPPG kitchen.

"How can the food, prepared by a nutritionist, be intervened by you? This is what's going viral, and it's all the rage right now; it's intervention. Let me ask again, who's the expert, the nutritionist or you? Why are you controlling the menu and the expert so you can benefit from providing cheaper foods?" she said.

She also emphasized that the temporary closure of the kitchen is not due to a food safety incident, but also if the partner is found to have misused funds.
