Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has rejected claims of “fake kitchens” of the nutrition service unit (SPPG) in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, clarifying that certain facilities listed on its official portal have not yet been constructed.

“They are not fake kitchens. In the process of becoming a partner, applicants propose a location for building the SPPG. Some have built their kitchens, others have not. There are locations booked but construction has yet to begin,” BGN Head Dadan Hindayana said after a limited cabinet meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday (12/8/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

BGN data shows 5,103 SPPG kitchens are operational across 38 provinces, 502 regencies, and 4,770 districts, supported by the military, police, civil organizations, and catering associations. Thousands more are in preparation, with verification accelerated at 200–300 applications daily.
