inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) distributed nutritious food to flood-affected residents in Denpasar, Bali, in collaboration with other parties and the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG).

The aid was distributed directly by the Head of the Agency's Expert Team for Community and Social Empowerment, Florencio Mario Vieira, along with the Bali regional coordinator and partners.

"The initial aid provided in the form of 90 food boxes was delivered to the evacuation post at 07.10 am, and was immediately received by the evacuees," said Mario on Monday (9/15/2025).

In addition to food, BGN together with the Bali SPPG also distributed 40 basic food packages, including milk for children affected by the flood to ensure their nutritional needs are met.

"The distribution of aid went smoothly thanks to the support of partners and staff in the field," said Expert Team Mario.

He also conveyed that the evacuees will soon return to their respective places after finding suitable housing or after the alert status is lifted.

Meanwhile, Khairul Hidayati, Head of the Legal and Public Relations Bureau of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), also expressed her concern over the disaster that occurred in Bali. She assured that BGN will always be present in emergency situations.

"We will always be present in every emergency situation to ensure that affected communities continue to receive support and assistance. This assistance is expected to ease the burden on evacuees, especially children," she said.
