inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana confirmed that he would temporarily suspend the operations of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) that have not met standard operating procedures to ensure the safety and feasibility of implementing the Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) Program .
"For SPPGs that experience problems, we will temporarily suspend them until they are evaluated, mitigated, and then after everything is in accordance with the SOP, we will allow them to operate again," said the Head of BGN, Wednesday (10/8/2025).
He added that all SPPGs that have been operating are required to have a Hygiene Sanitation Certificate (SLHS) issued by the local Health Office.
According to him, SPPGs can operate if they already have an SLHS certificate and if they do not have one, they cannot operate.
Meanwhile, the Governor of East Java (Jatim) Khofifah Indar Parawansa explained that the process of obtaining an SLHS certificate is now easier as the authority has been delegated to the regional government.
She also urged all SPPG managers to proactively coordinate with the local Health Office to expedite the issuance of these certificates.
The government, through strengthening SOPs and cross-sector synergy, continued the Governor's efforts to ensure the implementation of the MBG Program is safe, healthy, and meets standards.
